Zinnia Fairy Description
From Flower Fairies of the Alphabet - The Zinnia Fairy will be constructed of the finest all wool felt. Standing 9.5 inches tall, she will be fully jointed at her shoulders, hips and neck. She will feature a sculptural molded felt body with an internal wood mechanism to connect her limbs and head. Her ball and socket jointing system with internal wood mechanism will allow for graceful and expressive poseability. The Zinnia Fairy will have delicately hand-painted features and a wig of the finest imported mohair. Her hands will be sewn with individual fingers and her lovely fairy wings sewn and molded from fine silk organza, then painted by hand.
The Zinnia Fairy will be created faithfully to the original illustration by Cicely Mary Barker wearing a green bodice and layered skirt made of felt Zinnia flower petals. A wreath of tiny yellow felt flowers will crown her head and she will hold a wondrous Zinnia flower made completely out of felt.
