Growing up the only girl in a family of nine children, Marie Osmond created her own imaginary girlfriend, and named her ﾓEmmalineﾔ. ﾓEmmalineﾔ was the perfect friend because she was playful, happy and a little precocious. On a couple of occasions she even took the blame for Marie when confronted by her parents. Marie would simply respond, ﾓOh, I didnﾒt do itﾅ. Emmaline did it!ﾔ
