R John Wright Willoughby Description
Made entirely of the finest custom-made golden tan mohair plush with skillful airbrush coloration, Willoughby measures 12 inches tall standing. He is five-way jointed and features leather-covered black shoe-button eyes, a hand-embroidered waxed nose and mouth of dark brown cording and beige all-felt paw pads with hand embroidered claws.
Around his neck Willoughby wears a deluxe red velvet ribbon imported from Switzerland embellished with RJW green felt accents and an old time brass hawk bell imported from Germany. Willoughby is carefully based on classic Edwardian teddy bear images which feature long limbs, large feet, a pointed nose and back hump. He is the most traditional bear design from R. John Wright. Willoughby will be offered during the 2012 Christmas Season in a limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide. Each bear will come beautifully boxed with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.
