The Red Clover Fairy Description
The first Flower Fairy of the Wayside, Red Clover Fairy measures a diminutive 8.5 inches tall and is constructed of the finest all-wool felt. She is fully jointed at her shoulders, hips and neck, featuring a new ball and socket jointing system. The Red Clover Fairy has a sculptural hollow body with an internal wood mechanism to connect her limbs and head. She has hand-painted features, graceful hands sewn with individual fingers and a wig made of the finest imported mohair. The Red Clover Fairy is faithful to the original illustration by Cicely Mary Barker. She wears a charming pink silk dress with felt leaves at her shoulders and a matching scarf tied at her chin. Her delicate fairy wings are sewn, molded and hand-painted from fine silk organza. As the perfect final touch, this lovely little Wayside Flower Fairy comes holding a realistically detailed stalk of clover - made entirely out of felt with airbrushed coloration.
