The Heather Fairy Description
Heather is a Flower Fairy of the Summer. Constructed of the finest all wool felt, he will stand 8.5 inches tall and will be fully jointed at his shoulders, hips and neck. This charming little elf will have delicately hand-painted features, pointed fairy ears and a meticulously hand-knotted wig crafted from the finest imported wispy blonde mohair. He will have a sculptural molded body and limbs with tiny hands sewn with individual fingers. His magnificent fairy wings will be sewn, molded and hand-painted from fine silk organza for a shimmering, iridescent effect.
The Heather Fairy will be designed and costumed according to the original Cicely Mary Barker illustrations. He will be dressed in a simple 2-piece outfit consisting of a sleeveless shirt and billowy, gathered shorts. This Summer Flower Fairy will come holding a realistic, detailed branch of heather blossoms made of molded and hand-painted felt.
