2012 DOTY Winner Chloe in Whisperland is a 22 inch tall, ball-jointed doll (BJD) cast in the finest baby-tone resin. Her sweet, sun-kissed skin tone is achieved by Joe's own special airbrushing technique followed by the application of a sealer to ensure durability of the hand-applied body blushing. Chloe's brunette wig is softly styled in an elegant up-do with victory rolls and garnished with a sheer, sparkly pink bow - perfect for a flower girl! Her beautiful amber eyes are handmade by Joe in a very intricate process that uses the finest resin and acrylic. The artist uses his own special formula to achieve many levels of color and applies a clear lens to enhance the depth of field giving Chloe a very natural, vivid look and expression. To enhance Chloe's faceup, her eyebrows and bottom eyelashes are painted one-by-one to achieve a natural look. Various tones of pink are combined with glaze to give her lips the perfect natural luster.

Chloe is well balanced and stands firmly on her own without the aid of a doll stand. She is double jointed with 19 points of articulation making her poses extremely human-like. Look closely at Chloe's hands and feet to see the many fine details carefully thought out by the artist. Meticulously considering each detail, Joe paid extra attention to the delicate sculpt of Chloe's hands and feet, hand-painting each nail individually to portray a natural look.

Chloe's pink and white tea-length dress is absolutely precious with a sleeveless, white taffeta bodice and pink sparkly sash. Her skirt is accented with a sheer layer of shimmering organza and white flower lace trim. To complement her dress she wears a pair of handmade silver and pink sandals embellished with a silver and pink daisy and a Swarovski crystal. Chloe's lovely flower bouquet is arranged with roses and calla lilies.
