Noi - Laos Description
In Laos, the costume and skirt worn by our little Noi, is made for wear on the Annual New Year Festival and is a symbol of celebrating the good fortune of the past year and a sign of future prosperity. As seen with the vivid colors of her knee-length skirt of brocade and special patterns, and her elaborate headdress, the highest standards were upheld in keeping true to the native Hmong people's value to the needlework.
Over 250 metal buttons and bead accents are used to create each costume. The costume brocade fabric was created especially for this costume.
Noi has black hair and brown eyes.
