Wild
Republic®,
a division of K&M International, Inc.,
began in 1998 as a line of huggable, long-armed primates--each
with its own unique name and character story inspired by the
animal's origins and culture. Numerous other wildlife have
since been added to the collection. These plush toys have
significant educational value, besides their obvious charm.
Originally, they were sold only at zoos, museums, and aquariums.
Wild Republic plushes all have velcro hands or paws, which
makes them perfect for hanging on kids' necks, doorknobs,
fireplaces, and just about anyplace else.
Baseball
fans will recognize the Wild Republic® monkeys as the
"rally monkey" of the World Champion Anaheim Angels.
