Friedericy wax-over-porcelain dolls are highly-prized by collectors all over the world. They are the result of a family collaboration that began in 1987. Judith Friedericy sculpts each doll's head, hands, and feet, while her daughter, Lucia, paints the doll, applies the wax, and makes the bodies and clothing. There are no molds, and no two Friedericy dolls are exactly the same. Every Friedericy doll is a one-of-a-kind.
We maintain a small inventory of Friedericy dolls. If you see a Friedericy doll that has already been sold, we can work with the Friedericy's to create a similar doll--you have the opportunity to vary the characters, costumes, and accessories. Even if you just have an idea for a doll, we can talk with the Friedericy's to see if they can create a doll that would satisfy your wishes.
