Bears
is
best known for its Teddy Legends, a series of celebrity bears
and other animals bearing unmistakable resemblence to well-known
figures from the world of entertainment, sports, and beyond.
Cooperstown has mastered the most difficult technique of teddy
bear production--transforming human characteristics into a
teddy bear, which still represents a true likeness of the
individual. This task requires painstaking hours of research
and design work to develop each of these limited editions.
The result is the perfect union between aesthetics and collectibility.
Besides the celebrity bears, Cooperstown offers Vintage Teddies
(classic teddies), Sports Bears (representing most professional
baseball and football teams, and a few other athletes), Zoology
101 (wild animals, birds, sealife, and occasionally insects,
ranging in size up to 34"), and Celia Dolls (fine handcrafted
porcelain dolls).
