March Hare Description
The March Hare joins The Mad Hatter as one of the releases in the acclaimed R. John Wright Alice in Wonderland Collection. Based faithfully on the immortal books written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by Sir John Tenniel, The March Hare stands approximately 16 inches tall. He is fully jointed and constructed of the finest mohair plush and felt with a molded character head with hand painted inset leather eyes, embroidered features, whiskers and felt 'human-style' hands with individual fingers.
Authentic down to the last detail, The March Hare appears as Alice saw him at the Mad Tea-Party dressed in a tailored, fully-lined felt jacket, fitted polka dot waistcoat, necktie, and striped felt trousers. Just as in Tenniel's illustrations, a scattering of straw lies on top of his head.
