Adoncia - Chile Description
From the south of Chile comes Adoncia, a Mapuche Indian whose name means "Sweet One." And sweet she is in a black wool jumper set off with different colors of wool fringe! Colorful matching beads form an X and O pattern across the bottom of her skirt and a warm fringed shawl graces her shoulders.
A spectacular bib necklace of silvery coins, filigree fans and tube-shaped beads dazzles her passing admirers. Adoncia wears a headband of metal discs with a flower formed of double rows of self-fringed material and a center of circular beads.
Adoncia has brown hair and hazel eyes.
